Cut-Outs: Finish the Picture!

This fun activity lets the student explore creative ideas & use their imagination. For this project cut out part of an image from a magazine and glue it anywhere on a piece of paper. I used faces for the theme of this project, but you can use any kind of image you’d like. For my class I was working with adults with intellectual disabilities. I explained the project to them by saying to finish the other side of the face, but to use their imagination. I love seeing the outcomes of this type of art! Everyone interpretes it in a different way. This project will vary depending on age level or ability, but it is a fun way to explore creativity!
